WH Zmanor E imp USA

WH Zmanor E imp USA personifies classic Arabian type—an exotic head, large, liquid eyes, swan neck, perfect body, abundant charisma, world-class quality and elegant movement.  WH Zmanor E is an outstanding example of the beautiful and capable athletic Arabian stallion.

Sired by the 1998 Polish National Champion Stallion and 2000 US National Champion Stallion *Emanor, (pictured right) one of the newest sensations to come out of Poland. The impeccably bred stallion was created from the wisdom of the phenomenal breeder and horseman Dir. Ignacy Jaworoski of Michalów State Stud Poland. *Emanor was sired by the incomparable Wojslaw and out of the finest Eukaliptus daughter Emanacja – both Polish National Champions. His powerfully balanced body, long neck and unbelievable motion have brought this young stallion acclaim from around the world.

“And the crowd goes wild!” - sports announcers favourite comment when spectators completely and noisily lose themselves in enthusiasm for a sports hero.  Every now and then—and perhaps not often enough—crowds at the US Nationals behave in a similar manner as they attach themselves to a contender so demonstratively, so thoroughly, and so loudly that all others (no matter their quality) pale in  in significance.  It happened this year at Albuquerque.

From the moment *Emanor and Michael Byatt stepped into the arena for the stallion semifinals, spectators had their winner and they never let up in the din they created in support of him.  When *Emanor was named National Champiojn Stallion, that cheering was heard half way around the worlk.  Through fast fingers on a cell phone, Jerzy and Urszula Bialobok at Michalow Stud in Southern Poland (where *Emanor was bred) heard the crowd noise as George Zbyszewski shouted over the roar, “You have a champion!”

*Emanor had no time to bask in the glory of the National Championship, the teal goal for 2000 was to get him back in the showring under saddle at Scottsdale.  There he won the English Pleasure Championship class.”If people think they’ve seen this horse in his glory as a halter horse, he’s going to knock their socks off when he trots through the in-gate under saddle,” George notes.  “People should know that this horse wears only eight—ounce shoes.  When he arrived from Poland, we put the usual 13.5 ounce shoes on him.  He wore them only two days because at the trot his motion is so extreme he was hitting himself under the belly and causing bleeding.”  “I’ve ridden *Emanor,” Say Mila Hart.  “So I’ve had the pleasure of being up on the most balanced horse ever.  George told me, ‘Look down, bend over, and you’ll get a knee in the chin!’”

So we salute the last US National Champion Stallion of the century.  For the *Emanor team, he brings new perspectives to the breed.  *Emanor lets us begin the new millennium with a horse that is different, once who brings both athletic ability and beauty in one package, one who will narrow the gap between halter horses and performance horses.

Emanor is sired by *Wojslaw. On a propitious day in 1986, three decades after Arax left Poland, a refined bay colt was born to one of the favourite mares of the Stud, she being *Wilejka, a mare of exquisite beauty, splendid pedigree and marvellous disposition. (Wilejka pictured left)  The Director honoured the colt by naming him after a legendary knight of ancient Polish history, a name he had reserved for a very special horse. *Wojslaw lived up to his responsibilities, having a good race record as well as being named Polish National Champion Stallion. He not only did well in athletic testing and in the show ring, but he excelled as a sire. He is the sire of *Emanor, Polish & US National Champion Stallion, & Canadian National Champion Park; Beduin, Danish Res. National Champion; UK Res. Champion Mare, Prymka; and many other top show horses. In addition, he sired the phenomenal Druid, called “the best racehorse in 70 years” by Polish breeders. Druid later sold for $.5 million. *Wojslaw (pictured right) is the sire of many other stakes and classic race winners, and still is a top sire of winning horses currently running in Poland.

*Emanor is from the phenomenal mare EMIGRACJA.  The EMIGRACJA family has been a major force in the show ring since its debut in 1986, and for the past decade has dominated all the major Arabian events in Europe. EMIGRACJA’s produce had already won an incredible 25 National Championship titles in Poland, 7 major titles each and numerous class wins at the all-important European Championships and All Nations Cup, 3 World Championship honours garnered by three successive generations at the Salon du Cheval, and a score of other prestigious international championships all across Europe including the spectacular dual U.S. National Stallion Championship in Albuquerque in 1999. What makes these statistics even more imposing is the fact that all but just two of these wins were accomplished through produce of dam, not the more traditional and expedient route via get of sire. Consider further that EMIGRACJA is not a relic of the past, but alive and well at a youthful twenty two years of age, with only six daughters having produced more than one foal and just four daughters over the age of ten. Of all her descendants, the furthest removed are great-grandproduce under five years of age. It is a record most astounding, and certainly one that stands alone at the leading edge of the Arabian breed.

As a physical specimen, EMIGRACJA is EMIGRACJAa wonderfully complete package of all the best Arabian characteristics. I would not consider her extreme in any one area – just solidly well rounded, a model of sound conformation, plentiful breed type and overall athletic usefulness. She can best be described as most closely resembling the style and type of fellow Polish treasures Arra, Europa and Pentoda.

WH Zmanor E is doubly bred to ‘the horse that money couldn't buy’ - EL PASO.  El Paso was chief progenitor of Kuhailan Haifi or.Ar - Wielki Szlem branch in Poland. He was used in the Polish breeding program in 1972-1975 at Michalów

Stud and 1979-1981 at Janów Podlaski Stud. He raced 2 seasons at the race track in Poland and did 19 starts with the results (3-3-3). In 1976 he became Scottsdale Champion Stallion and US National Champion Stallion when on lease to Lasma Arabians. He was in the U.S.A. on a three year lease deal between the years 1976-1978. El Paso's stud fee was $5,000 in 1976. Despite grand offers from the US, Poland refused to sell him. It was not until 1981, with a check of $1000,000 and big enough to make Poland (as well as the rest of the world) gasp, Dr. Armand Hammer purchased the handsome bay stallion. Upon his return to the United States, El Paso stood at Town & Country Farms in Florida where he was promoted as a race sire. El Paso died in 1995, at the age of 28 of cancer.

Czort was the sire of El Paso and an excellent racer and twice winner of Criterium. He was a very important sire in post-war breeding in Poland, known as a sire of excellent performance horses. Czort was used for breeding between the years 1959 - 1972. He raced 19 races in four seasons with the results (13-5-1). Czort produced 15 stallions, 4 of them were used in Poland.

Ellora was a bay mare born in 1950 in Poland and she never left the country. She was one of the most important Polish broodmatrons. Dam of three sires used in Poland: El Azrak (1960) - sire of Banat, Ellorus (1972), El Paso (1967) - exported to the U.S.A., and Elfur (1966) - Derby winner used at

Tersk Stud, Russia. Ellora produced seven daughters including Edessa (1961) - exported to Sweden, Elba (1962), Eliza (1963), Ellonga (1968) and Eliminacja (1974) - all exported to the U.S.A, and Elewacja (1970) - Polish National Champion Mare and valuable broodmatron at Janów Podlaski, exported 1992 to Great Britain. Ellora died in 1984.

In the US El Paso have the sons Guaranteed - 1981 US National Top 10 Stallion, El Pasito - 1982 Canadian National Top 10 Stallion, Botaan - 1984 Canadian National Champion Stock Horse, also Non-Pro Cutting Champion, Mark IV Icecapade - 1984 Canadian National Pleasure Driving Champion, Top Ten Informal Combination as well as US National Reserve Champion Pleasure Driving and Celtyk - US National Champion Stallion and MS Ellusion - 1985 Canadian National Top 10 Champion Stallion and Star World Top 10 Stallion. When Wizja returned to Poland she was in foal to Cognac and produced the colt Winiak in 1983.
